COSTA RICA – PANAMA (PASO CANOAS BORDER)

Day 01: Arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport (San José)
Day 02: This morning you will be picked at your hotel in San José for your journey towards the Central Mountain Range where you will visit an authentic Costa Rican coffee plantation and La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Poas Volcano. The coffee plantation visit will allow you to learn about coffee cultivation and processing. La Paz has a well-designed trail through its cloud forest that winds alongside the crystal-clear Peace River and leads to viewing platforms that bring you up close to five beautiful waterfalls.
Day 03: Transfer to Tortuguero National Park known as Costa Rica’s “little Amazon”.
Day 04: Enjoy a boat guided tour through the national park’s narrow canals and admire its vast green filled lush rainforests where one can appreciate abundant wildlife. Continue to the northern lowlands of Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna town.
Day 05: Enjoy the majestic Arenal Volcano with a series of hiking trails that brings you through forested areas and across some of the historic lava fields that buried much of the surrounding jungle during the dramatic eruptions of 1992. Also enjoy the Arenal Hanging Bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, opening the doors of a fascinating and colorful Tropical Rain Forest world.
Day 06: Enjoy the lake crossing boat transfer to Monteverde and its unique rural Quaker/Tico community. Get a different perspective of the cloud forest, as you literally fly through it on a ¨Zip Line¨ Canopy Tour!
Day 07: Transfer to Manuel Antonio. In the way boating while birdwatching, observing crocodiles, and enjoying the lush flora and diverse fauna on the Tarcoles River.
Day 08: Explore the pristine natural beauty of the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park filled with exotic wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, birds, reptiles and butterflies.
Day 09: We will bring you to Drake Bay, were the adventure begins! Take a scenic boat ride along the Pacific Coast, arriving to Drake
Day 10: Tour to Sirena Station is the best way to maximize your wildlife viewing at this natural sanctuary, walking the park´s trail system with your own private local guide.
Day 11: Take part on a guided Boat Tour and Snorkeling Experience at the extraordinary Caño Island, a forested island biological reserve with a beautiful light sandy beach and waters that protect an abundance of marine life.
Day 12: Continue to Sixaola Border with Panama and transfer to Boquete.
Day 13: Go to the highest point of Panama on this exhilarating Jeep 4x4 tour of Barú Volcano. On a clear day, this chilly volcano peak offers incredible views of both the Caribbean and Pacific. Bundle up and get ready for the off-roading experience of a lifetime.
Day 14: Early flight to Panama City. Panama City Tour & the Panama Canal starts out with a fascinating visit to the Miraflores Locks Visitor Center. You will then continue to the Biodiversity Museum Continue for lunch to the Casco Viejo historical part of town. End the tour with a historical walking tour through the historic center which is home to beautiful restored colonial houses and interesting architecture, beautiful cathedrals and plazas.
Day 15: Private transfer to the Tocumen International Airport.
